My recent focus for this blog is to share education and awareness for mental health & Neurodiverity, with a focus on Autism in adults. Since I was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder in February 2020 at the age of 25, it made me realize how many people get diagnosed late and just how skewed societies understanding of it really is.
So it has become my mission to in some small way, shift peoples perspectives just as mine has been (drastically) shifted. I hope in doing so, future generations will be more understanding and empathetic toward Neurodiversity and realize it is integral to a healthy society. Understanding enhances compassion, let's help break the stigma.
