Cornwall trip, 2019

On Sunday the 9th of June we packed up from our London air bnb, and got a flight to Nanpean in Cornwall. It was a one hour flight as opposed to a 6 hour train ride.

After the running around of the morning, I think a beer was needed. We stayed with my Grandad Steve and his Wife Joe, and their dog Cody. It was our first time seeing their new place and they have such a beautiful view. Weather was sunny and nice for our arrival.

The rest of our time was unfortunately a little over cast, cold and rainy, but we made the most of it. On our second day, we ventured out to see our surroundings. We came across a bus stop, saw the bus was arriving soon on its way to St. Austell town centre (20 min away).

We thought what the heck, and decided to see what was there, and maybe find ourselves a raincoat.

We came across this pretty park that had old head stones throughout.

Grandad took us for a drive and we saw this cool place.

The streets of Nanpean near our place. We had a little kitty cat visit us at the front door.

So chilly!!

We took a drive to Newquay

Louis and I went to the Eden Project biodomes. One was a tropical environment and the other Mediterranean. It was awesome!

We went to the capital city Truro and came across a great vintage shop.

On our fifth and final night, Grandad, Joe and their friend from London; Lynne took us to Padstow for dinner. It was a really nice little place. The weather was nicer, water was calm, and we had fun laughing at the giant Sea Gulls and seeing the quaint houses.

We highly recommend visiting the Eden Project in Bodelva, Cornwall. They have a really nice cafeteria at the entrance, and a buffet area once inside for more hearty meals. It cost us 30 pound to enter and we spent a few hours there.
